The PEPR Quantum invites you to the third edition of On board to Synergy 2025, organised on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 September 2025 at the CNRS headquarters in Paris.

The aim of this event is to bring together the PEPR community and interact with all the stakeholders in the National Quantum Strategy, as well as several major research programmes with common development challenges.

Day 1 (Tuesday)

The aim of this day is to highlight the projects, the associated technological challenges and existing or potential synergies, and to place them in the context of the PEPR and the national strategy. It should enable young researchers (PhDs or post-docs) to build up a network and demonstrate their direct contribution to these projects.

Guidelines day 1 (for all projects)

1. Prepare a short presentation (5') by the project leader - 3 slides max, strict timing as all projects must present in a row.

2. Identify a PhD student or post-doc whose research topic illustrates a major lock of the project or a major issue of synergy with other PEPR projects, for a 180s presentation - 2 slides max, strict timing
   
   
3. Prepare a poster to encourage interaction

Deadlines

22/08/2025: registration closes
25/08/2025: posters must have been sent
29/08/2025: presentation materials PI + young researcher must have been sent

A set of slides and a poster template are available for download once you have registered (see left). The body of the poster can of course be modified, but please keep the header and footer.

We will take care of printing the poster for each project, which must be sent in pdf format by 25 August at the latest (strict deadline). After this date, the project concerned will be responsible for printing the poster.

Day 2 (Wednesday)

This day will focus on continuing the synergy projects already underway and preparing for the next major developments in your respective fields (foresight). It will be organised in the form of workshops, accompanied by feedback sessions. Your conclusions, questions and needs will be taken into account in the preparation of a working document that can be shared with the various players involved in the national quantum strategy.

Registration is free but mandatory to take part in the event.
